cool as a cucumber….as the saying goes…
I love this salad…..it’s refreshing…creamy….and GOOD!
We planted 4 cucumbers plants this year in the garden….
and they are very, very happy right now!!!
I have about 50 of those jewels on my counter top….
waiting to be made into dill pickles….I will be sharing that recipe soon…..
But for now…..You have to try this!
Loaded of course with sliced fresh cucumbers…..
a little sour cream…..
a little fresh dill….
a little white vinegar….
and a dash of salt & pepper…..

“Cool as a Cucumber Dill Salad”
3 cups of thinly sliced cucumbers
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
2 tablespoons of fresh chopped dill
pepper to taste
1. Toss sliced cucumbers with salt & let set for 1 hour. Then gently press out the moisture from the cucumbers with a paper towel.
2. In small bowl, combine sour cream, vinegar, dill and pepper.
3. Coat cucumbers with sour cream mixture.
