French Rabbit in the Guest Room

French Rabbit in the Guest Room

Good morning everyone!  Did you have a wonderful Easter Celebration?……We certainly did…..my house was full of family and food and yellow bunny peeps ….yes the marshmallows ones….I get a kick out of placing them here and there on the dessert….they are so stinky cute………….talking about bunnies…..today I’m sharing my french rabbit…..can you say…….ooh la la…..

2

His home is located in my middle guest room upstairs…..I did warn you how much I love bunnies…….I’m planning on keeping him out all year round…..

4

I just love the rhinestone hanging around his neck and the lovely lace……This bedroom I recently painted from purple…..yes I said purple……to a creamy white……..I’m still working on the decorations in here……I think I have finally decided on a theme….Paris……I just love Paris…..a few years ago I was able to go there with my husband…….what a trip……we had the best time…….I’m so blessed……..

3

I have been buying little bits of decor that reminds me of Paris…….  🙂

5

I just purchased this lamp at Home Goods on clearance….I checked it out good….wondering why they had marked it down so low……found only a tiny mark on the shade….looks like fingernail polish……no problem…..I can handle a little mark…..for that price……you could barely see it………… and check out the picture……

6

It has a pale pink high heel shoe with bling……with the word Paris at the top……I also have another picture that has New York at the top that goes with it……..I found them both at Kirkland’s in the clearance section…..the plan is to hang them on the wall next to the bed……I’ll keep you posted as I continue to play around in this room with the decor….hopefully soon I can show off the whole room…….

Have a blessed day…..

Spring in the Breakfast Room

Spring in the breakfast room

What a absolutely gorgeous Good Friday!!!  I hope you are enjoying this special day…..and…..the weather could not be more perfect……I feel like throwing open all the windows and just letting all that sunshine in along with the sweet fresh spring air …….but……guess what….. I have errands to run………so opening up all the windows will have to wait for another day………… at least for now…….

today I’m sharing my breakfast room table decorations…..pardon the pictures….this room is always so dark to photograph…..I know the dark walls has a lot to do with the lighting…..but…..one day soon……the green wallpaper will go…..and a much lighter wall will appear……  🙂

2

If you remember from last year……I had these cute cream color rabbits on my dining room table at Easter……I decided this year to place them in my breakfast room instead…..about a month ago I finally found some chair pads for my chairs…..they are linen……with lots of ruffles around the edge…….Pier One’s spring shipment had just arrived……and I was buying them right out of the shipping box…..really I was……and they only had 4…….I bought all they had and since I needed 6 for this table…….I had to purchase the other 2 from another Pier One……so… the color of the rabbits and even my runner matches perfectly with my linen chair pads…..woo-hoo!

3

I have 2 mercury glass candlesticks…..with a special little treat on top of each one….a little birds nest along with white feathers……and speckled eggs…..

4

what a beautiful shade of blue…..don’t you think……I got the candlesticks from Michael’s  several months ago……Mercury candlesticks…..can’t go wrong buying them…..they look great no matter where you place them….

5

The runner like I said earlier matches perfectly with my rabbits and chair pads….

6

Here are my chairs pads………the picture turned out a little dark…..but you can still see how pretty they are…….

Hello everyone…..What a night……while Denver, Co was experiencing a blizzard……well….that same weather system surprised us with hail around 10:30 p.m…….it was pouring out of the sky like a severe rain storm but instead it was ice rocks……quarter size at least…..the ground was solid white…….no damage here at my house…..but car alarms were going off next door as the hail continued to pound their cars that were in the driveway…..Starting off spring with some white stuff…..and not the fluffy kind… :(…..

2

Was playing around with my camera again today……..In my photo shoot……none other than “Blush” the bunny…….I just love this guy…….so glad when my daughter moved out she left him behind……..

3

Don’t you just love that face….and his feather friend I got a Michael’s……

4

Blush is a Ty toy from many years ago……part of “The Attic Treasure Collection”……

5His ty tag proudly proclaims his name to be “Blush” along with a little saying……

“You Make Me Blush!”

 Gotta love him……

Blessings!
